Rhonda Stroud McCutchen

Introduction:

Rhonda is an 18 year veteran classroom teacher, of both middle and high school science, turned Instructional Technology Coach in 2012. Rhonda mostly works with teachers through staff development sessions geared toward the effective use of the G Suite Productivity Tools as well as the utilization of the LMS – Brightspace for student engagement in an online platform. During the 2018-2019 School Year, Rhonda was an integral part of the development, and implementation, of a SMART (Students Making Analyses in Real Time) Tech Team designed to assist students and staff with technology needs both inside and outside of the classroom. She is very familiar with the large scale deployment of initiatives like Chromebooks.

Vision:

Everyone can incorporate technology in classroom lesson plans to enhance
the delivery of content material if given the proper instruction, guidance, and support. All that is needed, is the right environment and a desire to nurture, and expand on that desire, to improve how content material is delivered through the latest technological advances.

Certifications:

Rhonda is a Google for Education Certified Educator, Trainer, and #NYC19 Google Innovator; a Microsoft Certified Educator and Microsoft Innovative Educator; and an Apple Teacher. She has earned a Master Screencaster Badge and certificate from Screencastify as well as earned a Flipgrid Level 1 Educator Badge.  Rhonda has a BS in Chemistry and a MEd in Middle Grades Science with a Math concentration. Rhonda also has ESOL, Gifted, and Coaching Endorsements linked to her teaching certificate. Rhonda is available for consulting services and training sessions for large. or small, groups for 1 hour to 2 days.
